General

Adela Rajesham has forty years of operating and management experience. Starting at a junior management level he rose to become the Executive Director of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) which the one of the foremost passenger carrying company in India. APSRTC is also one of the few profitably run public sector road transport organisation in the country. Rajesham has had a varied and rich experience. He was appointed as Managing Director of Allwyn Auto Ltd, a Company engaged in the automotive bodies for buses. Rajesham also is a much sort after consultant for projects and faculty for several management institutes. He has the experience of a manger and a technocrat at senior levels.

Academic

Rajesham completed Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University College of Engineering, Hyderabad and then went on to do his Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management from National Institute of Engineering & Industrial Engineering (NITIE).

Experience

A. Rajesham started his career as a Junior Engineer in the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd a company engaged in the production of coal. But shortly he joined the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation in the cadre. During the over three decades of glorious service that he provided to the Corporation, he worked as Depot Manager, Assistant Mechanical Engineer (O & M), Works Manager, Divisional Manager, Senior Engineer (Industrial Engineering), Regional Manager, Managing Director (on deputation to Allwyn Auto Ltd) Chief Engineer (Industrial Engineering Projects & Computerised Ticketing) and finally at the Board level as the Executive Director of APSRTC.

Rajesham has note worthy experience in academic pursuits. He has written and published several articles in the prestigious Transport Management Journal and Small Enterprises Development Management & Extension Journal. He is a recognized project consultant and guest faculty in prestigious institutions like Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, Transport Academy, APSRTC and Jawaharlal Nehru Technical Institute (JNTU).
